WiSpry Obtains Key Patent for MEMS Variable Capacitors and Actuation Components
Irvine, Calif., February 16, 2010 — WiSpry, Inc., the leader in tunable radio frequency (RF) semiconductor products for the wireless industry, today announced that the Company’s patent application for Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) Variable Capacitors and Actuation Components, and Related Methods has been granted by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (Patent number 7,545,622).
This fundamental patent enables innovative mobile handset designers and manufacturers to design and optimize handset performance dynamically for the very first time. The result for the consumer is less dropped calls, increased talk time and better battery life.
