從半導體展看到的專題，還蠻有意思的，就google一下相關訊息 Minimal fab提供高價值和小體積的半導體工廠，包括了半英寸晶圓的超小型等器具，橫河電機(Yokogawa)於2016年4月在東京武藏野市建立了最小的Fab應用實驗室。其中關鍵作動因子為其將直徑12.5mm或13.5mm的小尺寸晶圓放入稱為「Shuttle」的密閉容器，透過設備進行製程處理，在非無塵室環境下進行晶圓製造。隨著晶圓及生產設備小型化，可以減少或不需要半導體生產所需化學藥劑及廢液處理設備，設備電源也可以用家用 110V 的電力，大幅降低工廠建設成本及空間。從表中可以看到：Minimal Fab Equipment List，目前可以用的機台，及待開發的機台生產時間 Focused Light Heating CVD及Ion Implanter預計可以在2020年可以完成其它如SPM-Cleaning、Coater、Maskless Exposure (A)、Developer、Furnace、PE-CVD (TEOS)、Deep RIE、Asher (Micro Plasma)、Optical Thickness Meter、Wafer Surface Scanner等，有興趣可連絡橫河電機。 [VIA] 「2017 SEMI 日本微型晶圓(Minimal Fab)及試作產業參訪團」出國報告 Minimal Fab - Yokogawa Global 日本顛覆台積電霸業的秘密武器──物聯網時代的「迷你晶圓廠」

Introduction to MEMS gyroscopes

(November 15, 2010) -- Jay Esfandyari, Roberto De Nuccio, Gang Xu, STMicroelectronics, introduce how MEMS gyroscopes work and their applications, the main parameters of a MEMS gyroscope with analog or digital outputs, practical MEMS gyroscope calibration techniques, and how to test the MEMS gyroscope performance in terms of angular displacement. The significant size reduction of multi-axis MEMS gyroscope structures and their integration with digital interface into a single package of a few square millimeters of area at an affordable cost have accelerated the penetration of MEMS gyroscopes into hand-held devices. MEMS gyroscopes have enabled exciting applications in portable devices including optical image stabilization for camera performance improvement, user interface for additional features and ease of use, and gaming for more exciting entertainment.
